The CVCA baseball team traveled to Canton South on Thursday for big game in the PAC-7 standings. The Royals and Wildcats entered the game first and second respectively in the conference. CVCA started fast and scored 7 runs in the first two innings. Junior Nik Wirsching was impressive on the mound and hurled a 3 hit shutout as the Royals went on to win 8-0. It was the 9th consecutive win for the boys as they now sit at 10-3 (7-0) on the season. CVCA will host Holy Name on Saturday in a North Coast Conference preview.
