The CVCA baseball team hosted Northwest on Thursday night in a conference make-up game. The Royals jumped ahead early with five runs in the first inning. Northwest answered with 3 runs of their own to cut the lead to two. CVCA responded with three runs in the 5th and three runs in the 6th. The boys went on to win the game 11-3 and improve to 21-4 (13-0) on the season. They will face Triway on Saturday at the College of Wooster before returning to postseason play on Monday in the District Semi-final.
