The CVCA hockey team competed in the 2025 Normandy MLK Tournament this past weekend. The Royals were looking to defend their title after winning this tournament in 2024. They opened their title defense with a 3-1 win over Lake on Friday night. They skated past host Normandy by a score of 7-2 on Saturday and claimed a spot in the championship game with a big 11-0 win over Whitmer on Sunday. On Monday, CVCA faced off against Lake again in the Championship game. The Royals defeated the Flyers by a score of 5-1 to win the tournament. The team has now won 9 straight games. They will be back in action on Saturday night at Avon Lake.
