The CVCA boys basketball traveled to Parma on Friday night for a tough conference test at Padua. The Royals raced out in front early and led 20-9 at the end of the first quarter of play. Padua began to control the pace of the game in the 2nd quarter and CVCA's lead was just 4 at the half (29-25). The Bruins pulled ahead in the third quarter and would hold on to win by a score of 50-46. It was an off night for the Royals, but they still control their own destiny in the North Coast Conference. The boys will travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary on Tuesday night.
