The CVCA boys soccer team hosted Kenston on Thursday night in the OHSAA Tournament. The Royals and Bombers were both looking to secure a spot in the District Championship game. Liam Brewer. The CVCA defense was set on making sure one goal would be enough to win in this game. They recorded their 11th shutout of the season. Junior
Nick Linaburg scored the game's final goal with just over two minutes to play when his corner kick bounce of a Bomber player and into the net. With the 3-0 win, CVCA advances to the District Final on Saturday. They will face Padua at 4:00pm at Ravenna High School. The Royals are now unbeaten in their last 14 games played (12-0-2). They have won 7 straight games and finish the season a perfect 12-0 at home.
