The CVCA cross country teams traveled to Youngstown on Saturday for the 2025 OHSAA Division II Regional Championship Meet at Boardman High School. The Royals were looking to keep their seasons alive by earning a spot at in the State Meet. It was a large meet with many teams vying for a top 10 qualifying spot. The CVCA boys had an impressive day and finished as Regional Runners-Up. They tallied 195 team points. Zac Andamasaris led the boys with a 14th place finish. The CVCA girls fought hard and a 10th place finish. They tallied 339 team points. Logan Romanini led the Royals with a 13th place finish. Both teams have earned a trip to the 2025 OHSAA State Championship Meet. The Royals will travel to Fortress Obetz next Saturday to compete for the final time in 2025.
