The CVCA boys soccer team hosted Western Reserve Academy on Wednesday night. The Royals welcomed the challenge of a strong Pioneers squad in their final game before the postseason. CVCA was up for the challenge and earned a 2-1 victory over WRA. After a scoreless first half, CVCA took the lead early in the 2nd half of play. WRA quickly responded to draw even. With just over 6 minutes left, CVCA scored to move in front. The Royals held on for victory and improved to 12-2-2 on the season. They will open tournament play at home on Saturday, October 18th.
