The CVCA hockey team skated against the Solon Comets on Sunday. The Royals scored an early goal in this one and never looked back. CVCA extended their lead to 5-1 early in the 3rd period of play. The Comets fought back and scored three unanswered goals to pull within one. The Royals were able to hold on for a 5-4 victory as they move to 2-0 on the season.
