The CVCA hockey team hit the road on Saturday for an away contest against Westlake. The Royals were able to score one goal in each of the first two periods to build a 2-0 lead. Westlake answered with two goals of their own early in the 3rd period of play. The CVCA defense, led by goalie Ryan Cogan, held off the Demons late in the 3rd period and in overtime to preserve the tie. Cogan recorded an incredible 65 saves in the game.
