The CVCA boys basketball team hosted Massillon on Saturday night. The Royals and Tigers were locked in close battle in the first half as CVCA led by one at the break. The third quarter was all CVCA as they opened up an 18 point lead. The visiting Tigers were able to respond with a strong 4th quarter. Foul trouble and turnovers cost the Royals late as they dropped this game by a score of 77-72. The team is now 3-1 on the season. They will host Padua on Tuesday night in an important North Coast Conference game.
