The CVCA hockey team hosted Orange on Saturday night. The Royals were fresh off a 2-1 win over Aurora late Friday night. The Lions proved to be another challenge for CVCA, but a challenge the Royals were ready for. Overtime was need on Saturday night to determine a winner between CVCA and Orange after both teams scored 4 goals in regulation. Junior captain Joshua Porter scored the game winning goal with just over three minutes left in overtime. With the win, the Royals improve to 7-4-1 on the season. They are set to host the 2025 CVCA Christmas Tournament on December 27, 28, & 29.
