On Saturday, eight Royals swam at the 2025 Canton City Schools Christmas Invitational at the C.T. Branin Natatorium. CVCA has a strong day against and difficult field. Four Royals advanced to the finals and Ellie Carr set a new school record in the 100 back.

CVCA top 10: Ellie Carr broke the school record in the 100 back! She beat the previous record set 2 years ago by 1.5 seconds. The Boys 200 MR (Nathan Mitchell, Jason Duong, Colin Crocker, Andrew Sims) joins the list at #7. Jason Duong moved from #9 to #6 in the 50 breast and improved his own #8 100 breast time. Colin Crocker improved his own #8 50 fly time. Lucy is now #2 in both the 50 and 100 free.
