The CVCA baseball team traveled to Holy Name on Monday. The Green Wave play their home games at Tri-C West in Cleveland. The Royals fell behind in the first as Holy Name scored once after a few defensive miscues. CVCA scored twice in the 3rd inning to grab a 2-1 lead.

Kyle Shaw got the win after going four innings allowing just 1 earned run.
Alex Mammone pitched three scoreless inning to earn the save in the 4-2 win. CVCA is now 5-3 (2-0) on the season. Holy Name will travel to CVCA on Tuesday.
