The CVCA baseball traveled to Elyria Catholic on Tuesday for their final North Coast Conference game of 2025. The Royals were looking to claim the NCC title outright with a win over the Panthers. CVCA exploded for 11 runs in the 2nd inning to grab control of the game. Elyria Catholic was able to answer with 7 runs of their own in the bottom of the third inning. The Royals were able to hold on for a 12-10 road win. They finish conference play with a record of 9-1 and earned the 2025 championship. The boys will travel to Alliance on Wednesday for a non-conference battle.
