The CVCA baseball team traveled down to Alliance on Wednesday for a non-conference battle with the Aviators. It was a good game between two of the top Division III teams in the area. The starting pitchers were the story in this one as CVCA secured a 2-1 victory. Senior
John Harabedian went 6.2 innings and allowed just 1 unearned run. He struck out 8 in his 5th win of the season. The Royals offense struggled to figure out the Aviators starter. They were able to break through in the 4th inning. With 2 outs,
Connor McGough tripled to score
Thad Eaton.
Zac Anderson followed with a single to drive in McGough. McGough also earned a one out save on the mound for the Royals. The win moves CVCA to 16-6 on the season. They will return to action on Saturday when they host Woodridge.
