The CVCA baseball team hosted Kenston on Tuesday in the OHSAA district semifinal. The Royals and Bombers were locked in a a pitcher's duel with both starters on their "A" game. Senior
John Harabedian dominated for the Royals. He allowed just 3 hits across seven innings of work. He struck out 12 batters and did not allow a single run. CVCA need just one run thanks to that performance, and Harabedian decided to take care of that himself as well. His 6th inning solo home run with 2 outs in the 6th inning proved to be the game winner. CVCA advances with the 1-0 victory over Kenston. The Royals will face Buckeye in the District Championship on Thursday at Washington High School.
