The CVCA boys soccer team hosted Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on Tuesday night in Royals Stadium. The Royals and Lions squared off in a North Coast Conference battle. CVCA was able to grab the lead with a late first half goal. They added an insurance goal with just over 15 minutes left in the game and held on for the 2-0 shutout victory. The boys are now 7-2-1 on the season and 2-1-1 in conference play. They have won 5 of their last 6 games and held their opponents scoreless in all five wins. Next up for the Royals is a road test at Stow-Munroe Falls on Saturday afternoon.
