The CVCA boys basketball team traveled to Benedictine on Friday night to face the Bengals. It was an important road test in the Royals' quest to repeat as NCC Champions. The game was a hard fought battle, but CVCA only trailed once (2-0). They were able to withstand an early 4th quarter run by Benedictine and pull away for a 66-54 win. With the win, the boys improve to 9-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play. They now have a 2 game lead after the first round of play. CVCA will host St. Vincent-St. Mary on Tuesday night.
