The CVCA hockey team return to action on Sunday night after a long delay over break and J-term. The Royals traveled to Gilmour Academy to face the Mayfield Wildcats. Mayfield scored twice in the first period to lead 2-0. CVCA was able to cut the deficit to 3-2 by the end of the 2nd period, but Mayfield finished strong for a 5-2 win. The Royals are now 7-7-2 on the season. The will face Orange on Friday night at The Pond.
