The CVCA boys basketball team hosted Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin on Tuesday night. The Royals were looking to remain unbeaten in North Coast Conference play and win their 4th straight game. The Lions were looking to knock off CVCA after a hard fought loss to the Royals earlier this season. The boys slowly built a lead in the game and led by as many as 20 points early in the 4th quarter. NDCL made a late push but the Royals secured the 73-66 win. With the win, CVCA has now clinched at least a share of the 2026 NCC Championship. They have a 3 game conference lead with three games to play. They will look to secure the outright championship on Friday night at Elyria Catholic.
