The CVCA boys basketball team traveled to Elyria Catholic on Friday night to face the Panthers. It was an off night for the Royals as they did not shoot the ball well from the field or the free throw line in this one. An early CVCA lead went away during a big 2nd quarter from Elyria Catholic. The Royals were able to hang around and even pulled even late in 4th quarter. In the game's final minute, Elyria Catholic was able to hit a big three and CVCA's final attempts came up no good. The Royals fell by a score of 66-63 for their first conference loss of the season. The boys are now 13-4 (9-1) on the season. They are set to host Benedictine on Tuesday night.
