The CVCA boys basketball team secured a spot in the Division III Northeast 5 District Championship game by defeated Villa Angela-St. Joseph on Tuesday night. The Royals pulled ahead of the Vikings with a strong 2nd quarter of play. They extended the lead for good in the 3rd quarter and secured a 71-62 victory. Four Royals scored in double figures on the night as the boys improved to 20-4 on the season. CVCA will face a familiar foe in the District Final as they rematch with St. Vincent-St Mary. The Royals fell to the Irish during the 2025-26 regular season. The District Championship game is set for Saturday, March 7th at Strongsville High School. Game time is 3:30pm.
