The CVCA baseball team traveled to Padua on Monday for a big North Coast Conference game. The Bruins are one of the top teams in the conference and a highly ranked team in Division III. The Royals offense had a slow start in this game and CVCA fell behind 5-0. They started a comeback attempt with 2 runs in the 6th inning on a Connor McGough home run. CVCA moved one closer in the 7th when Jonah Gadio singled in Bo Lanzilotta. The Royals had the tying run at first when the Bruins chased a McGough fly ball deep in right center field to end the game. CVCA moves to 5-3 (1-1) on the season.
