The CVCA baseball team traveled to Copley on Saturday for a non-conference game. The Royals and Indians just beat the rain as the skies open as soon as CVCA got on the bus after the game. CVCA played well in all three phases to secure an 11-0 victory. Five pitchers combined for the shutout with
Luke McQuillen (3 IP) leading the way.

Logan Kish, and
Alex Mammone each added an inning on the mound. The Royals scored first when
Jacob Lancy scored on a Copley error in the top of the first inning. The CVCA offense broke through for a big inning in the 3rd as they plated 5 runs. Mammone singled in Lancy to make it 2-0.

Jonah Gaudio singles in
Reed Jones to cap off the 5 run inning. The Royals added 2 runs in the 5th to go up 8-0.
Connor McGough singled in
Zac Anderson and
Jacob Lancy singled in
Jonah Gaudio. A three run home run by
Connor McGough in the top of the 7th inning was the final blow. CVCA improved to 7-3 with the win. They are set to host NDCL on Monday.
