The CVCA baseball team had the opportunity to play at 7 17 Credit Union Park (home of the Akron Rubberducks) on Tuesday. The Royals faced off against the Bulldogs of Stow-Munroe Falls. CVCA jumped in front in this one with 3 runs in the first inning.
Jonah Gaudio scored on a throwing error after leading off with a single.
Evan Wensel walked in
Connor McGough and
Daniel Walker walked in
Jacob Lancy. The Royals left the bases loaded in what could have been a really big inning. Stow scored once in the 2nd after a couple of defensive miscues by CVCA.

Connor McGough in the bottom of the 2nd inning to push CVCA's lead back to 3. Stow would not score again after the second inning as starting pitcher
Kyle Shaw held the Bulldogs at back over 5 innings of work.
Ben Pittner pitched a scoreless 6th and
Connor McGough shut the door in the 7th. The Royals added one extra run in the 6th inning when
Ryan Tajgiszer scored on a
Daniel Walker sac fly. With the 5-1 victory over Stow, CVCA moves to 5-0 on the season. They will travel across the street on Thursday to face the Walsh Jesuit Warriors.
