The CVCA boys soccer team opened the 2026 season on the road on Saturday night. The Royals traveled to Aurora to face the Greenmen. This game as a rematch of the 2025 State Semifinal when CVCA's season came to an end. The Royals started fast on Saturday and led 3-0 with 15 minutes to play. The final 15 minutes were packed with action. Aurora scored twice to pull within 1 goal. CVCA responded with 2 goals of their own to secure a 5-2 win. Not only was this the first win of the season, it was the first win for Coach Will Rasper as head coach. On Tuesday night, the Royals will host rival Walsh Jesuit in a highly anticipated match up.
