Many CVCA Wrestlers choose to continue to improve their wrestling skills before and after the wrestling season. CVCA has proven to have some of the hardest working and committed wrestlers in the state of Ohio and the entire country. The dedication and commitment of the wrestlers at CVCA have shown to pay dividends every year in late February and early March when the words "C.V. CHRISTIAN" are on the leader board at the State Tournament.
Wrestlers from CVCA can be seen at wrestling camps all over the country during the off-season. Every year there are CVCA wrestlers at the toughest and most intense wrestling camps in the nation. Some of the camps that are frequented by our wrestlers are the Navy Seal Wrestling Camp, Ohio State Wrestling Camp, Michigan State High Intensity Wrestling Camp, Penn State Wrestling Camp, Messiah College Wrestling Camp, Jeff Jordan's State Champ Camp, and Campbellsville Tiger Camp, just to name a few.
Also, many wrestlers choose to participate in different National Team Events all over the country to improve their skills during the off-season. Wrestling national competition at the highest level is a great experience for our wrestlers and prepares them for the upcoming wrestling season. CVCA Wrestlers often compete in individual national competitions as well as national duals team events. Some of these events include FILA Cadet Nationals, ASICS/Vaughn Cadet/Junior Nationals, NHSCA Grade Level Nationals, AAU Junior Olympics, Brute Scholastic Showcase, NHSCA East Coast National Duals, AAU Disney Duals, and USA Wrestling National Middle School Duals just to name a few. In 2009 a team of mostly CVCA wrestlers placed 2nd in the Community Division of the AAU Disney Duals.
