The softball team hosted the Falcons of Firestone in non-league action on Thursday. The rains held off long enough to complete the game. The Royals allowed 1 run in the top of the first but answered with 3 of their own in the bottom hallf. From there, CVCA wouldn't look back as the would score 13 runs in just 4 innings. Final score: CVCA 13 - Firestone 1 (5 innings)

Katelynn Justice pitched 7 innings earning the win with 7 strikeouts. Lindsey Curcio led the offense with 2 doubles and a single. She also scored twice and drove in 4 runs. Chloe Warren had 2 singles, 1 run, and 2 RBI. Katelynn Justice added a double, a run, and 2 RBI to her performance on the mound. Abby Kebbel chipped in with 2 hits, 2 runs, 1 RBI, and 1 SB.

The girls will host Cuyahoga Falls for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 23rd at 1 & 3pm.
