The CVCA softball team hosted Highland on Friday in the opening round of the OHSAA Tournament. The Royals were able to score early to grab the lead. They scored twice in the first and once in the 2nd and 3-0. The Highland offense broke through in the 5th inning and the Hornets moved in front 4-3. CVCA was able to find an answer on offense and failed to score again. Highland advances with the 4-3 win and CVCA moves to 13-10 for the season.
