The CVCA softball team traveled north to face Beaumont on Wednesday. The Royals and Blue Streaks met a John Carroll for this North Coast Conference match-up. The story of the day was freshman pitcher Shaye Tepley. She pitched 7 shutout innings and did not allow a single hit. Tepley record 12 strikeouts in CVCA's 9-0 win. The girls are now 13-9 (4-6) on the season. They will host Highland on Friday night in the OHSAA Tournament.
