The Royals traveled to Barberton on Thursday for a game against the Magics. It was a great day for softball as these two non-league opponents took the field. Barberton was able to score earlier and hold the CVCA offense at bay. The game ended by run rule after 4 1/2 innings. Final score: CVCA 0 - Barberton 10

Lindsey Curcio struck out 7 batters in her 4 innings of work. Chloe Warren's double was 1 of just 3 hits on the day for the Royals.

CVCA will host Triway on Monday, May 9th. Next week also begins the State Tournament.
