The CVCA softball team faced off against Woodridge on Saturday as part of the Falls City Classic. The Royals game against Cuyahoga Falls was rained out later in the day. The Royals built a 7-0 lead entering the bottom of the 6th inning. Woodridge was able to score 4 unearned runs in the 6th to pull within striking distance. CVCA responded with 4 runs of their own in the top of the 7th inning. The girls held on for an 11-4 victory. The Royals are now 8-4 on the season. The girls will host Holy Name on Monday night.
