The CVCA Boys Soccer team hosted Akron's Archbishop Hoban on Tuesday night. These two teams know each other well and have played many times over the years. This back and forth battle was decided by a late goal.

Hoban struck first with an early goal. They held their 1-0 lead through halftime. The Royals got their equalizer in the second half. After a cross, Braden Petno's header fell to the feet of Zack Venus in front of the goal. He calmly put the ball in the back of the net to tie the score up. The game seemed set for a draw as the 2nd half winded down. Hoban managed to score again with just under 8 minutes left. The Royals were unable to find a goal in the game's final minutes. Final Score: CVCA 1 - Hoban 2

CVCA will travel to Hudson on Thursday night. They will finish off the week by hosting Orange on Saturday night.
