The CVCA boys soccer team hosted Western Reserve Academy on Tuesday night. With just 2 regular season games left, the Royals were looking to stay sharp for the postseason. CVCA scored just a few minutes in to the first half. Zack Venus found the back of the net and Josh Flenniken picked up the assist. The 1-0 score would last through half-time. In the second half, CVCA added an insurance goal. Zack Venus scored again with Chris DeLucia earning the assist. WRA added a goal but could not find an equalizer. The 2-1 win moves the Royals to 10-1-3 on the season. They will host Green on Thursday, October 12th at 7pm. This game will serve as Senior Night.
