The CVCA football team host Loudonville on Friday night in Principals' Athletic Conference action. The Royals were looking to bounce back after two tough losses in a row. They were able to come out of the gate with lots of energy and grabbed an early lead. The Red Birds tried to battle back, but CVCA wasn't going to give up the lead in this one. The Royals would go on to win by a score of 47-28. CVCA will travel to Triway on Friday.

The Royals started fast in this game with 3 first quarter touchdowns. Jordan Decatur scored an 11 yard rushing touchdown on the opening drive. Tre Tucker added two long rushing touchdowns (52 & 75 yards) of his own to give CVCA a 21-0 lead. Tucker added another rushing touchdown in the 2nd quarter and the Royals were up by 4 scores. Loudonville answered with a score before halftime to cut the score to 28-7. 

In the 2nd half, the Royals and Red Birds would trade scores. Loudonville scored three times on the ground in the final two quarters. CVCA answered each score with one of their own. Tre Tucker scored an 11 yard rushing touchdown. Josh Junko caught a 17 yard touchdown pass from Michael Bevington. Tre Tucker scored on a 45 yard rushing touchdown.
