The CVCA baseball team hosted Northwest on Friday for an important PAC-7 matchup. The Royals were looking to stay unbeaten in conference play while the Indians were looking defeat the Royals after a 1 run loss just a week ago. Northwest was able to score in each of the first 4 innings. The Royals limited the damage by allowing just 1 run in each inning. CVCA was able to score once in the 2nd inning and once in the 3rd inning. They then scored twice in the 5th inning to tie the game. From there, both teams went back and forth with opportunities to score. Neither team could score until the Royals ended the game in the bottom of the 9th inning. Christian Isaacs singled to drive in Josh Thacker and the Royals won 5-4.
