The CVCA baseball team competed in the Cuyahoga Falls City Championship on Saturday. The Royals hosted Woodridge in the first game of the day at 11am. The winner was scheduled to travel to Walsh Jesuit for the championship while the loser would travel to Cuyahoga Falls for the consolation game.
Woodridge picked up a 5-3 win in game number 1. The Royals made too many defensive mistakes and couldn't string together hits in this one. This hard fought game has a chance to be a postseason preview.
