The CVCA boys soccer team won the 2019 District Championship on Saturday. An impressive 3-0 win over Aurora in the rain and cold gave the Royals their first district title since 2015. A first half penalty by Chris DeLucia gave the Royals a 1-0 lead after 40 minutes. They found two insurance goals (Justin Luiza & Chris DeLucia) and the defense stood tall for the shutout win. It was the teams' 19th District Championship. The win advances the Royals to Regional play. They will face Howland on Wednesday, October 30th at Ravenna High School in the Regional Semifinal at 7:00pm.
