For the first time this season, the CVCA tennis team was able to finish on the winning side of a 3-2 team match. The Royals defeated Copley 3-2 to improve to 3-3 on the season.
Cole Farren and
Alex Stout got great wins at 1st and 2nd singles, putting CVCA in prime position to win the match, but with everyone watching, it came down to the 1st doubles team of
Curtis Kolb and
Noah Rios. They went to a 3rd set and remained calm and poised under pressure to get an important win, sealing the victory for the Royals. The boys will compete in the Hawken Invitational on Saturday.
