The CVCA baseball team competed in the Cuyahoga Falls City Championship tournament over the weekend. The tournament includes CVCA, Woodridge, Cuyahoga Falls, and Walsh Jesuit. The Royals won a well played game 4-1 on Friday over Woodridge. Strong pitching led the way for CVCA. With the win, CVCA advanced to face Walsh Jesuit in the championship game. The Royals jumped ahead early but were unable to keep the Warrior bats quiet. Walsh won the game by a score of 12-6. CVCA has a big test this week with three conference games on the schedule.
