Baseball pulls away from STVM

The CVCA baseball team hit the road to face the Fighting Irish on St. Vincent - St. Mary on Friday. The Royals hit the ball hard all night and took advantage of some walks and errors by the Irish to pick up a 13-5 victory. CVCA used a big 6 run 5th inning to pull away from STVM. Junior Matt Groggs picked up the win by holding the Irish at bay during 4.1 innings of relief. The boys will return to conference play on Monday at Fairless.
