The CVCA softball team defeated Firestone on Thursday evening. The Royals trailed 3-1 entering the bottom of the 6th inning. After a two out single, CVCA hit 3 consecutive doubles to grab a 4-3 lead. Grace Hengsteler closed the door on an outstanding performance on the mound with a scoreless 7th. CVCA is now 4-3 on the season and will travel to Northwest on Friday.
