The CVCA boys tennis team found a way to face St. Vincent-St. Mary on Wednesday. This match was originally scheduled for last Saturday before cold temperatures and snow forced a postponement. Then on Wednesday, rain forced the match indoors but the Royals and Irish were able to compete. CVCA earned a 3-2 team win on the day and improved to 3-2 on the season. STVM brought a great team to the match, with competitive hitting on every court. CVCA's Seth DeRoo and Liam O'Keefe took a decisive 2nd doubles win, while Griffin Bosshard composed himself after splitting sets to win a deciding third set at second singles. STVM managed to win first and third singles, so the match result came down to the final court to go on, which was first doubles. In a match full of quick points and fantastic aggressive net play, David Van Hala and Carson Reske took the victory, sealing the win for the Royals.CVCA is are scheduled to host Kenston on Thursday, weather permitting.
