The CVCA softball team traveled to Akron on Thursday to face the Firestone Falcons. The Royals broke the scoreless tie with one run in the top of the 3rd inning. Firestone was able to answer right back with three runs in the bottom half. The Falcons would add some insurance runs while CVCA wasn't able to score again. The Royals fell by a score of 6-1 with just one of the runs being earned. They will return to action on Saturday against WRA.
