The CVCA baseball team opened OHSAA Tournament play on Wednesday. The Royals hosted Akron East in a Divison II Sectional Final. The boys cruised to a 14-1 win over the Dragons in 5 innings. CVCA is now 20-4 on the season and has advanced to the District Semi-final. This is just the 4th team in program history that they have reached the 20 win mark. The team will host Northwest on Thursday and travel to Triway on Saturday to wrap up the conference scheduled. They will then face Woodridge on Monday in the District Semi-final at Gilmour Academy.
