Senior Cord Steigmeier was named Honorable Mention All-Ohio by the Ohio High School Hockey Coaches. He had an outstanding senior campaign as he led the Royals in goals, assists, and points. Cord tallied 36 goals and 27 assists for 63 points this season. CVCA finished the season with a record of 19-6-1. The team won three in-season tournaments (Anderson Memorial, CVCA Christmas, Normandy MLK) and were co-champions of the GCHSHL White North Division. Cord was named 1st team league honors this season as well.

"Cord finished an outstanding CVCA Hockey career with 131 goals and 229 total points. He was an assistant captain this year and played a big role in our success the past four seasons (record 84-36-1)."
