The CVCA boys tennis team played in the Sectional Tournament this week. The Royals competed at the Division II level at the College of Wooster. Both of CVCA's doubles teams advanced to the semi-finals and earned a spot at the District Tournament after Day 1 of the Tournament. The singles players battled hard but had their seasons come to an end. Doubles teams of Jonathan Van Hala/Lincoln Gates and Dylan Scott/Ben Reske battled their way to a head to head match-up in the Sectional Final. Van Hala and Gates came out on top in the all CVCA final to claim the Sectional Championship. Scott and Reske earned the spot of Sectional Runners-Up. Both teams will compete on Friday at the Division II District Tournament at Springside.
