The CVCA wrestling team competed at the District Tournament this past weekend. The Royals wrestling at the Division II tournament hosted by Kenston High School. Seven Royals qualified for the tournament, and CVCA finished the weekend in 6th place overall. Three Royals secured a trip to the State Tournament next week. Senior Rocco Czarnecki was District Champion at 132 and Sophomore Paul Tepley was District Champion at 190. Senior Ky'Ron Fikes finished in 4th place at 138. All 3 will wrestle at the OHSAA Division II State Championships at Ohio State's Schottenstein Center.
