The CVCA girls lacrosse team traveled to Holy Name for the 2nd time this season on Friday night. The Royals and Green Wave met on March 31st, but that game was suspended early in the 2nd quarter due to inclement weather. CVCA led 7-4 when play resumed Friday night. The Royals wasted no time taking control of this game. Junior
Greta Bigham scored four quick goals and CVCA led 12-5 at halftime. They continued their strong play in the 2nd half and outscored Holy Name 7-0 on their way to a 19-5 victory. Sophomore
Aelyn Crecco had a pair of scores on both days, ending up with four overall. Junior
Jessica Hart had a hat trick and sophomore
Sophie Fox and
Jules Youssefi each had a pair. Three other Royals recorded single goals, as the 19 tallies were the most goals scored by the Royals since a 19-12 win over Walsh in 2023. It matched the mark for ninth most prolific offensive outburst in CVCA Girls Lacrosse history. With the win, the Royals wrap up the regular season with a record of 8-3.
