The girls lacrosse team traveled to Akron to face the Fighting Irish of St Vincent - St Mary High School on Wednesday. The matchup is the last of the regular season for the Royals. CVCA came out strong in this one. Each member of the team contributed and they finished their regular season on a high note. The girls netted 11 goals and only allowed 1 on the night for the big win. The win also snaps a 5 game losing streak. The Royals will now look forward to their postseason run which will begin on May 17th.

Roni Watkins and Julia Karas each recorded hat tricks for the Royals. Breeze Swift added 2 goals for the visitors. Alana Reske, Nicole Albright, and Brenna Lowe also scored on the night. Breeze Swift led the team with 3 assists, while Alana Reske and Sami Hawthorne each had 1.
